Outstanding Teacher of the Northland

Harbor Pointe Credit Union is excited to team up with WDIO News this 24/25 school year to bring special attention to our many dedicated teachers in the region!

Students and parents can nominate a teacher to be selected for the “Outstanding Teacher of the Northland Award”. 

The WDIO news team will surprise a teacher in our region to highlight a story on, and a $500 check from Harbor Pointe Credit Union will be presented to the teacher for their classroom!

The first award will be presented in November and six teachers will be recognized throughout the 24/25 school year! Watch for more details on how to nominate a teacher on WDIO. Harbor Pointe Credit Union was founded by educators in 1933. It continues to be our privilege to support and recognize our highly talented & dedicated teachers for all they do for our next generation! We know resources for teachers can be tough with limited budgets and hope these $500 awards can be put to good use in the classroom.
