It’s easy to get started, simply provide the name and email address of the friend or relative you are referring and we will send them an email invite to experience the many benefits of Harbor Pointe Credit Union. Be assured they will only receive one email message from us inviting them to be a member.
Your friend can mention the email referral to us when opening account at any Harbor Pointe Credit Union branch. Or, if they open account online they can enter “Referral Name” in promo code. When they open a new membership account along with a checking account with direct payroll deposit or deposit their first paper payroll check into new account, you will both receive $50.001 as our thank you!
Harbor Pointe Credit Union membership is open to anyone living in St. Louis, Carlton, Lake, East Itasca MN or Douglas County WI. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for membership.
* Must be a member in good standing for at least 6 months with no delinquent loan balance or negative savings or checking balances. Referral must mention referring members name at time of account opening to qualify for incentive. This offer may not be combined with any other promotional offers and applies to anyone 18 years and up opening a new account.
1 Cash will be awarded to both current and new member at the time of first direct deposit in new checking account or first paper paycheck deposit within 45 days of new account opening to qualify for cash incentive. $50.00 will be deposited into the savings account of both the referring (current member) and referred (new member). Cash incentive may be reversed if a new account is closed within the first 6 months. Cash award is subject to all applicable taxes, which are the responsibility of the member who may receive a 1099 form. Harbor Pointe Credit Union reserves the right to cap member reward contributions at $100.00 per household to preserve program integrity and provide multiple households the opportunity to participate.
